WOYWW

It’s WOYWW (What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday) hosted by the ultimate voyeur Julia over at The Stamping Ground.  This Wednesday finds me in the middle of projects and putting away goodies!

I was playing around with coloring  and made several cards in the process and I colored this guy.

I had him attached to a card front to which the husband informed me was “scary and too much”.  So now he’s hanging out the the back of my workdesk, keeping me company.

What is it about going into a stamping/scrapbooking store and not being able to leave without something?  A friend directed me to a video using the Snow Marker by Marvy, I thought it was cool but couldn’t find it anywhere local.  So I asked a my LSS and they said they could order it.  I went there with the intention of picking up nothing but said pen.  Well I came away with a few other items, an adorable 6x6 paper pad from We R Memory Keepers called Cotton Tails, a sheet of My Minds Eye that I thought would be perfect for bee cards, 2 sheets of Best Creation Inc. St. Patty's Day paper, a St. Patty's day stamp, a Happy Bird-day sentiment and a set from The Cat’s Pajamas that I had seen on the previous trip to this store and liked but didn’t buy.  It was still there I had to get it!
Finally a little candy in the Copic way arrived in the mail to satisfy my craving.  I needed a refill for one of my cool grays and so I ordered just a few colors to add to my collection.  I’m standing by my belief that they put something in that ink that when you use them it makes you want more colors!!!!
So that’s my dull little post for this weeks WOYWW.  Have a wonderful day and do something delightfully creative if you can!

  3. Is THAT what the Copic company does? I was wondering what that was about. I have more markers than my bin holds now but still need more (for reals too as I need a refill). I'm impressed with your crafting space after the projects are put away. Even when everything is picked up my place looks like a bomb went off. Maybe I should find a place for all that overflow to go? Naw... that would interfere with my crafting time!

  8. Oh can't husbands say the silliest things? I am always showing stuff to mine and then wishing I hadn't as he makes some such comment. I put rusty washers on a card once and he thought it just plain daft but everyone else who saw it thought it great ... just a pity it was his birthday card! That will teach him! I LoVe that bright and cheery chicken! Debbie #89
