WOYWW #4

Good day to you!!  As I write this it’s a balmy 52 degrees out at 7:20 in the morning.  We slept with the window open last night for the first time this year, Spring has sprung.  The gardens are awake and calling to me.  I’ve spent the last several days outside, I’ve got the aching muscles to prove it. Creative life continues though or in this case can be seen on my desk and the desk of so many talented and crafty followers of Julia at The Stamping Ground.

As you can see there is work being done here it’s messy isn’t it lol!  I’m working on a birthday card for my mom using Copics and some paper piecing. I’d zoom in but since she reads my blog I don’t want her to see it!  If you peek to the lower left there you can see the base that my ‘workdesk’ sits on, well a section of it.  The husband made those for me, well he made the whole desk but he built the bases is what I’m getting at.  I have five drawers on each side.  The very top drawer has my Crop-a-dile, eyelets and a piercing mat.  Next drawer is full of embellies, jewels, pearls, butterflies you name it it’s probably in there.  The next two are full of ink pads and the bottom is extra deep and has all my other coloring mediums in it, chalks, pastels, watercolors, etc.
That’s it from me, now go on and oogle some other very talented ladies who are brave enough to give you a peek at The Stamping Ground!

  1. Very organised desk, I wish I could be. Try this site for sewing parts, it has a drop down menu on the right, which allows you to select your machine: pfaffmachines.co.uk, this appears to be the same as the singer site I use, but I can't find the generic site anymore! if it won't mail to US, then let me know and I can forward it.

  4. Hello!

I love your workdesk - what a great husband to build this for you! I envy you your Copics - I am collectig them one at a time as they are so expensive - but so lovely to use! We are to have 78 degrees here in this part of WI today - amazing as our normal is to have snow! Wishing you a happy day today - with lots of sunshine!

    Hugs,

    Barbara Diane
