CAPTCHA..turn it off!

I’m a blogger so I understand dealing with comments.  If you don’t moderate your comments you can get some unsightly stuff posted and yes if you have a lot of people commenting on your blog moderating them can be time consuming (not that I have ‘that’ problem lol). I actually enjoy moderating my comments because it gives me a chance to interact with other bloggers I might otherwise not know about!
I’ve read some blog post about people complaining no one says thank you, well..turn off the CAPTCHA!
I’m happy to post a thank you for a blog freebie that I’ve gotten, happy to tell someone hey what you said was helpful and appreciated or even just say I love your blog but when I hit that CAPTCHA box, I’ll admit to rolling my eyes and sighing.  I’ll attempt it once maybe twice if I’m in a good mood but when that window pops up as not a match I close the blog.  I’m sorry but I hate those things with a passion, I mean seriously hate them and I’m not alone in my loathing either.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about here is a link to turning off CAPTCHA in Blogger How to Turn off Captcha.
I look forward to visiting and commenting on Captcha free blogs!!!

  1. I so agree with you! I have to moderate as I get SO much spam! No one wants to read that garbage. And when I do try to type the letters & numbers, I quit after the 3rd try if I can't match. I feel badly for the blogger but it's tuff! I read your post about Zip Dry... totally agree! And your cat is such a helper... LOL!

  2. You made me go check. I had to...maybe I'm supposed to be getting hundreds of comments on my blog and the captcha is turned on and that's why no one comments....It wasn't on....so now what...Actually my opinion on the subject is that we've all been spoiled by blogs that have prizes if you comment and your name is randomly chosen....The only reason I have subscribers, I think, is because of that one blog hop, I joined and they were required to sub, to win prizes. I'm not complaining, after all it's fun to see their smiling faces all lined up...but they sure are silent folks. Have a great day, Angie....

    1. Karen I know they are out there reading even if they don't comment. I've never won anything on a blog which is ok because I've learned sooo much!

  3. I agree with you about the capcha problems. So often it just doesn't see what I see in that box! And I give up, too after 2-3 attempts.
I over organize my scraps, I think. I have another drawer for designer paper scraps. I have a plastic 6 drawer tower that is organized by colors for my solid colors. I use the same idea in my rolling cart(remember the one TAC sold?)for days I create away from home. Basically, I have stopped saving pieces smaller than 3x4 of solids and 2x2 of prints, because, well, you know they would be sky high...
I always love reading your blog, Angie, even when I don't comment, you can be sure I read them all.

    1. Thanks Betty for letting me know you read my blog! I know what you mean about the scraps they just seem to grow all on their own.
