WOYWW.. #14

Aren’t you impressed 2 weeks in a row!  Hey I even surprise myself sometimes.  Thanks to everyone that popped by last week, I was up to my ears in family fun so didn’t get out and about to return the favor, but I’m working on that this week.  Better late than never right?
So if you saw my post on Tuesday you saw that I had a little bit of blockage on my work surface Winking smile  That cleared up after lunch and I managed to get a birthday card for my dad completed.

I’m putting a gift card in the pocket for him.  Why are most of the men in my life always so hard to shop for?  In any event I’m also working at decorating the insides of cards more now.  For years I’ve not really done that much in there, but hey it’s just as important as the front!
Since I’m probably once again at the back of the Stamping Ground bus I’m going to pop off now.  If you’re in need of something interesting to do, head over to our driver Julia’s place, her desk is always interesting!

  1. What a great masculine card! Love the idea of giving him a gift card within it.
I too did a gift card holder (different) in a workshop on Sunday and have just blogged it.
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. This is perfect for a guy card! I love how you decorated the inside too. I go in stages, sometimes the inside gets decorated, sometimes not :)

  4. Your dad is going to be so thrilled with his card Angie. I don’t often decorate the inside of my cards either, unless it’s an easel card but you’ve done a great job with yours. Maybe it’s something I need to do more often too.

    Happy Crafting!

  8. Hi angie
It's not just your men that are hard to buy for it is men in general, something about being hard to please?
Anyway you did a great job, I have never really thought about decorating the inside before, you've got me thinking maybe I should.
    thanks for sharing

  11. Hi Angie thanks for popping by and for the good luck message. I have to agree with you men and boys are all so difficult to make cards for and to by presents for! I have 3 this month two little boys and their Dad. Still on the card front it is fun tying to come up with something they will like. Your Dad will definitely be pleased as punch. I love your lettering. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 65

  12. Hi Angie,

Just saw your comment on my blog a December Daily, is a scrapping album documenting the days up to Xmas and or the end of December.... It was started by Ali Edwards who wanted to document in a smaller type format the lead up to Xmas....
Here is a link to her site with heaps of information this year you can buy December Daily kits with Studio Calico with everything you need to do the album....
    http://aliedwards.com/2011/11/december-daily-2011-25-ideas-and-story-inspirations.html
    http://www.studiocalico.com/kits/ali-edwards-december-daily
But a lot of people either build their own albums from scratch like me or get a premade one and try and get all the pages made before December, so you can just document and add photo's as each day goes by....
Hope I'm explaining it so you understand, I'm about to start my cover for mine tomorrow, so I hope your inspired to create your own December Daily...
Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi......
