WOYWW #192

Greetings peekers!  Today you find me in the depths of creativity and I didn’t even tidy before I took the picture!

Yes this is my ‘messy’ desk I’m working on a Valentine for the husband.  I came up with the idea and thought it quite appropriate, see it’s honeybee themed.  Well ok I suppose you wouldn’t know that in addition to my crafty-ness I’m also a beekeeper, though I prefer bee guardian because honestly I don’t ‘keep’ the bees from doing anything, because well bees do as they please.  Yes I know, I’m off in ramble land now, I think the bee love came from Pooh Bear really as I love Pooh Bear and Pooh loves Honey and Bees make Honey and well off I went again… Right then as I was saying I came up with this grand idea for a Valentine for the husband and I even went so far as to draw it out on paper so that I wouldn’t forget before I implemented my idea! (Hey that’s a big deal for me!)  Well, I pulled all my supplies together, er.. wait, how is that possible one of the KEY stamps I needed I don’t have!  Cripes!  Well I placed an order with my favorite online vendor, snagged a few more Copics too lol and will have to wait to finish it.
Now off you go to see all the other crafty and somewhat crazy people that take part in The Stamping Ground’s What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday jaunt!

  2. That is seriously not messy, just gently productive. I would love to have bees, but it would not be a good idea with two mad dogs who poke their noses into everything. Thank you for your visit. The cataloguing is progressing slowly, cross referencing everything on the computer. Have a good week. xx Maggie #20

  5. That's going to be a great card, I confess I don't like bees or wasps. I'm not usually scared by creepies but they freak me out big time! Have a good week. Take care Zo xx 76

  6. Hey Angie, Happy WOYWW thanks for swinging by my desk. I don't think your desk is that untidy at all. Love the fact that creating something for your Husband moved into a purchase opportunity :) Cx #111

  10. Hi Angie that's not messy....should see mine. I used to be a big fan of Winnie the Pooh but I had everything for my eldest boy and seem to have weaned myself off it. Have a super crafty time and thanks for the visit.
    Hugs Erika.

  12. Lovely desk with bee-y things on it Angie!! If you look on my blog for a couple of years ago for "Beehive Explosion Box" you can see the bee project I made for my schoolfriend in London who is also a keen bee-guardian! I love all things to do with bees and find them absolutely fascinating. I've stopped short of keeping them, though, and anyway couldn't do it even if I wanted to, because my hubby is allergic to bee stings, to the extent he has to take a syringe with him everywhere he goes, to give him time to survive while he gets to A&E!! We both love honey, though.

Thanks for your nice comment. There's a huge amount to do and I'm busy packing boxes now. It will be some time before my new ARTHaven is up and running and I'm being creative again!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
    Shoshi
