Organized Paper Finally!!!!

I wish I could take credit for this idea, I really, really do, but I can’t.  I also can’t find the original poster of this idea in any of my blog links.  So who ever you are Thank You!  This is so brilliant I have to share, it’s THE solution I’ve been looking for, for years!

So right now you are looking at this going, ok so cheapy magazine holders for paper big deal…Well it’s not the magazine holders that’s got me so happy, it’s something else!

Page protectors, something so simple but oh so effective for helping me sort all the paper I’ve got.

These page protectors hold a lot of paper (granted if it’s heavy weight and thicker it’s going to hold less) and make it super simple for me to flip through to see what colors I have and how many sheets I have of each.  That’s a really good thing because there have been times when I wanted to make multiples of something and didn’t have enough paper of a specific color.  It also eliminates the whole, ‘having to shift the stacks around to get to one sheet out’ game. They are upright, they are protected from dust, cat paws and sunlight.
So this is how it works, take the multi-page capacity page protectors and cut the edge off like this.

Then sort your paper and put in the magazine holders.  My biggest decision now is how to sort the papers, in color groups like they are or by pastel, primary and Earth tones!
I love getting organized!!!

  1. Best part of this is that you can put the name of the paper and/or company on a sticker on the outside of the page protector. Wish I had thought of that when I knew where my paper came from...
