WOYWW 230

Good day to you fellow desk snoops!  I started thinking about why I love this so much and the simple fact is, it’s nice to know that artistic creations are still very much alive and kicking!  It’s also a comfort to know that most people don’t have those perfectly clean and tidy art areas either!  So thank you Julia for starting something that is so much fun!  The Stamping Ground is a wonderful for connecting crafty types from all over the globe!

So what’s going on with me today?  Well glad you asked, for starters I have some new Riley the Moose stamp sets that I can’t wait to ink up!  One of the clear sets is birthday, the other Christmas.  Two of the rubber ones are Christmas images, one is fall and two are sentiment stamps that gave me a good chuckle!  I’ve long loved Moose and Riley is a cutie!

Speaking of Christmas I completed the process of breaking all my Christmas stamps into categories.  That’ what’s in those two bins to the right, I’ve put all Moose, animals, words, snowflakes, snowpeople, trees, wreaths and Santas etc. on sheets together.  This way, if I want a snowflake I don’t have to sort through dozens of sets to find one.  Now I just have to index them!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

  3. I'm so tempted to break my stamps up into categories instead of stamp set. I get scared every time i think about it! LOL

    1. I felt that way at one point, but I decided that I'd rather have the stuff in categories so that I can see all of whatever it is. Plus, most of my sets are so old that you can't buy them anymore and my selling days are long gone ;)

  4. Organizing stamps is always fun. I had to do it many times since I started stamping, each time is different! I'm always thinking of new and "better" ways. LOL! Lindart #80

  10. That's a great job done, cataloging your stamps like that. Like another commenter, I have thought of that but can't quite bring myself to split the sets apart! Riley is certainly a very cute Moose!

    1. I store my stamps on when you visited my blog, I have two different surfaces, one is the folders from Scraponizer because prior to going the way I have they were in those binders. I've also bought a few of the crafters companion binder pages which are thick white plastic sheets. They come in two sizes and each size comes either standard or tabbed. Hope that helps! It's made a huge difference in ease of use and finding what I want!
