So I fell in love with three things while looking on Pinterest. Brick embossing folders, window dies and spruce dies (or punches). These things are so incredibly useful for a host of card ideas that I had to add them to my supplies.
This card below, well both actually are for my husband. He really liked one of the other window cards that I made, so I decided to do one especially for him. I made the tree using a spruce punch and little gems. The window die is on foam tape to elevate it, to keep the tree from getting pancaked. I like making the window scenes that look like you are looking into a room!
This card also for my husband, our 18th wedding anniversary is today is another Pinterest inspired creation. My mom gave me the folder, it’s a Anna Griffin one and I love the reindeers so much. I used the oval template thing (I can’t think of what it’s called) to keep the folder from embossing where the sentiment is. I love the simplicity of the cards that are just plain white cardstock and embossing.
My card making is done for this year! I’m working on my December Daily now and I’ll share some of that in the coming days. I still can’t believe that I’m making an actually scrapbook! I’ve always considered myself scrapbook challenged.
Of course the card making will start up again in January
