If you are wondering why you are looking at pictures of my desks you can find out over at The Stamping Ground. Otherwise, welcome and read on my follow deskers…
It’s a twofer..but only because I’ve got stuff going on everywhere lol! Hey no one can say that I don’t keep it interesting!
Since somehow the husbands lap top is still sitting on what was my table for crafting, I moved my little self over to the actual table in my craft box. It works out just fine and it will most likely force me to do a wee bit of rearranging, not that I ever mind that.
So glorybee, here’s my current project, a birthday card that I’m working on with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
Moving on up, we find the original workdesk set up for paper cutting. Yes there is a minion peeking at you from the corner. I’ve gotten one full 12 x 12 paper holder emptied, half of another one down. The red box has the cut sheets of both 8.5x11 and 6x6, the green bin next to that is half sheets, the green bin next to that paper that’s been die cut. You can see a smidge of the paper box on the floor through the arm of the chair. That’s my completed scrap box! Over by the minion are some strips that I’ll either cut down or use as is. Oh and on the floor there, the file box, that’s my genealogy stuff.
Someone said that they didn’t understand why I wanted to cut all the paper, so here’s why. I’ve had this 12x12 paper for well over 5 years and haven’t touched a sheet of it, I wish I was kidding but I’m not. I bought it from a friend who was getting out of conventional scrapping and going digi. I love Bazzill for it’s weight and color and couldn’t resist it. (I LOVE paper!!!!). Turns out though that I just kept reaching for my 8.5” and this stuff got tucked into boxes and shifted from one place to the other, never to be used. After I get it all cut, it will be filed with my other Bazzill and I’ll start using it.
That’s all folks!
