WOYWW 249

This week finds me using 3 different areas but I’m only sharing one for sake of time.  I know that Julia over at The Stamping Ground likes us to attempt to keep it short!

I’ve reclaimed my table top, at least of bit of it.  My African violets have been struggling in the kitchen window so they are basically dying here.  My Paper Whites which you can’t see the blooms to on the right, I was informed smelled bad so I relegated them to an area I frequent.  The other two leggy beast are my non-blooming amaryllis.  In the center some new stamps!  The package contains a set I can’t share as it’s going to be used for a special card.  The ones on the ez mount that need to be cut are all dog related.  Some are images of Great Danes and others are general doggy fun.  The green bin on the right has card starts, stamped images to color, stamped sentiments and odd bits of this and that.  The plastic box in the back has completed holiday cards.   The one in the front has some completed reason cards (thank you, birthday, thinking of you, sympathy) and some that need to be completed colored and or assembled.  I suspect it seems like I don’t ever do anything from these post but oh I do!  In between cutting paper, sorting scraps, mounting stamps, sorting craft supplies to get rid of and all manner or organizing I make lots of cards and card starts.

For the curious, the card starts are all made with scrap papers and I use repositionable adhesive so that I can add a sentiment, image and any embellishments that I want.  Then I just adhere it all together and have a completed card!  These I can work on while the television is on as it just requires my repositionable adhesive roller.

Alrighty deskers off you go to have fun and explore the world of arty desks!!!

  3. You look very organized this week. It sounds like your system allows you to really be productive when you have the opportunity -- that's a good system. :) Happy WOYWW on Thursday. ~ Laura #14

  5. Hi Angie I decided to have a late week snoop around some WOYWW blogs because I missed heaps this last week and have some time now. Talk to those plants - I love african violets and bulbs - oh really any plants with flowers, so any plants, green stuff. I have this large tree outside my window just now that has highly scented flowers and the butterflies are visiting - pity its a tall tree on a slope and I can't get any photos...sorry for that waf fle. You're very organised and I like the idea of re-positional tape as I have starts as well but they are stacked in piles. Cheers RobynO#24
