WOYWW #354

Good Wednesday follow deskers, I’ve returned for another round of hopping and sharing.  Before I get to the juicy bits I want to answer the question so many asked about ‘naked rubber’ last week.  I had several red rubber stamps that had slid off their ez mount and it was making a sticky mess.  So I peeled it off, cleaned with adhesive remover and then a nice soapy bath.  Following that I applied Aleens Tack It to the back of the stamps, now they act much like clear, sans being able to see through them lol!

Now this is what I like to call, the damage after Easter lol.  Scrap paper and paper pads to put away, stamp set too.  On the far left is my newly acquired book You Can Draw In 30 Minutes a Day and a drawing set.  My mother is a most amazing artist as is my brother.  The gene apparently skipped over me or went dormant, I’m not sure which, but I thought I’d give it a shot and see if I can learn to draw even if it’s just basic sketches of flowers and leaves.

So that’s it, now off you go to see Julia at the Stamping Ground and all the other wonderous desk!

  2. Great to see project remnants. Have fun with the new book! I'm getting the itch to start sketching again. I keep thinking I'm not any good but then I remember a time when I enjoyed sitting with my pad and pencil so we shall see. Creative Blessings! Kelly #53

Have fun learning to sketch. Enjoy!
You have an amazing stand of trees outside your window... do you live in the middle of a forest?
    Take care. God bless.

  6. Your desk looks neat and ready to go! I can't draw. Makes me sad. Both my husband and oldest son are wonderfully talented yet neither of them draws very much.

Have fun learning! It might just be a dormant gene.

  8. I bet the gene is merely dormant, even if you don't have a matching style to your mother or brother! I love that you think your desk is an aftermath..for me that would have been very tidy! Ashamed to say that I haven't done anything about Easter this year. yet!!
