What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday #414

My creative spirit has been in the garden ever since temperatures allowed.  We’ve already rode the seasonal rollercoaster here in Maryland going from no winter to speak of, to 90’s in April to torrential rains and now frost in May! I’ve really had enough of that, I’ve weeds to pull and plants to move and mulch to spread.

I’ve also had cards and gifts to make so the 30’s in the morning led me to the warmth of  my sun filled craft room.  So on my workdesk you will find today a completed card for a friend who is due to have her first child very soon.

I’ve limited baby stamps to say the least, this stamp as well as the paper is from my days with The Angel Company.

The next card is an attempt at watercolor.

The stamp is PSX again very old and I used my watercolor markers and a waterbrush.  Not awful but a few spots look more like blobs of color then actual leaves or flowers.  I’ve convinced myself that watercolors just look like that…right?

Well that’s it from here.  Off you go to Julia’s at the Stamping Ground to see what other deskers are up to!

  1. Hi Angie, love the cards. I also don't have too many baby stamps, but I cope, lol. Lovely flower card, I can never get watercolouring to look right for me, but that looks fine. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxXx

  2. That's very nicely done watercolor for just an "attempt." Each petal seems lively and pretty to me. Very pretty.

  7. Nice cards. I've been making baby cards myself but it's not something I do very often and it took me a while to decide what to do but finished them now. Have a great crafty weekend and a happy belated woyww, Angela x16x
