Typically my stamping reflects the seasons. The cold winter months usually lead me to snowy visions in white, snow folks and the like. So color me confused when the temps soar into the 70's in January in Maryland. I suspect I feel much like the birds that are chirping outside my open studio window today, very confused!! I must confess that I am longing very much for cold air and the ground covered in white. Yet, the warm temps inspired me to think of the "sprigs" of Spring as I created this card birthday card today.
The rich warm colors of burgundy and green are two of my favorites, this patterned paper from the Amelia collection contained both plus a hint of warm gold tones. Now if I can just convince myself that it really is still winter and get into the snow mode instead of thinking about all the yard work that needs to be done, my stamping won't suffer!
