I've been absent again, lol. Well it wasn't for lack of creativity and anyone that knows me knows that there is always more going on in my life than what you see here. Can't help that lol and really the blog world doesn't need to hear the tales of my life with all the salaciousness out there to read daily! No I think I'll stick to being creative and sharing with you some of my inky pieces! Of course they are Christmas inspired!
I tried really hard to use pattern papers this year more so than before. I also wanted to use some of the stuff that I have had stashed forever! So not only did I break out the pattern papers on this card but I also used the textured snow product to give dimension to the stocking tops! I also used some colors that I might not normally use to color the stockings. I actually really loved the way this one turned out!
This little cutie makes me smile everytime I see him! He's got a twin around here somewhere!
He was so much fun to color and since when I think of ice skating, even if it's on peppermint sticks I think of hockey which makes me happy, which...brings me Joy, I used the silver Joy tag to embellish. I thought for a while to put something else at the bottom, but since this is for a boy I decided that it didn't need too much fluff!
Well that's it for right now. I've got to go fold some clothes, but maybe I'll post a couple more later! Happy stamping on this incredibly cold but beautiful day!!!
