So my local stamp store Photo Scraps does this cool thing each month. They put together a little kit of bits of paper and embellishments and challenge you to make something with it. Bring in your creation and get a discount on your next item purchased. Now that is a challenge I can totally get into!
Included was a piece of ribbon, some paper, some little dew drops and 2 blue tags. Tags! Ugh…tags have never been something that I loved working with but ok, it is a challenge after all!
I started with a blue card base and added 2 more layers of blue paper. I ran my Scor-bug around the edge to add a little detail to the layer.
I used the solid blue tag as a layer and used part of the double sided paper to make a second tag. You can’t really see it but the pattern is actually music notes. I punched a hole in that and stamped my single Kokopelli in Palette Hybrid Ballet Blue. Then I stamped the triple Kokopelli in Palette Hybrid Starry Night. I used Starry Night to distress the edges of the tag. I added some scrap pieces of blue ribbon to the white and tied them through the hole at the top.
I stamped the word Dream (because I couldn’t find my Dance lol) on the pattern paper in the Starry Night, distressed the edge and layered it on the darker blue cardstock.
Next I tore a piece of the dark blue cardstock and the other side of the pattered and layered them on the card base.
Finally I used the dew drops to accent the four corners of the card and ended up with this…
