To and fro, to and fro, to and fro I go…
Happy Wednesday deskers!  If you don’t know what that means head over to The Stamping Ground and let Julia tell you all about it.
Today you find my desk (in the upper craft room) covered with papers!  As is the floor and several storage boxes!
So briefly scrap papers are being cut to 4x5.25” and sorted by color and if they are solid or pattern paper.
They are next being filed into this Art Bin.
The pieces that are too small to be cut to the afore mentioned size are going into this box to be cut to additional sizes that will make easy layers or die cuts.  The green bin on the far right is holding things that are already die cut.
Waiting to be sorted.
This is 12 x 12 paper that I’m going to cut down to two sizes.  6x6” and 8.5x11” based on how many sheets I have of each.  When all is said and done, my papers will be under control, or at least I can tell myself that!
Have a great day!

  1. I am really surprised you want to cut your 12 papers down. Love the little pocket organizer box for the quarter sized pieces though that looks like it will be fun to walk your fingers through when your done.

  3. brilliant idea! i have lots, and always want to organise them but end up getting distracted! Lx

  4. Wow! I am impressed with how you are organizing all the paper, including scraps. A lot of work! Diane #111

  5. Ell, I'm thinking that if you cut every piece into useable sizes, you're going to need an 'east wing' as well as an 'upper craft room'!!!! Get you being so fabulously organised, I may be a bit jealous of your determination!

  6. Where did you get the nice box with dividers that your 4.25x5.5 pieces are gong into?

    1. The box is an ArtBin box Super Satchel Double Deep, I got it at Amazon because I could never find it at my Micheals.

Thank you so much for taking the time to say hello! Have a great day!
