My creative spirit has been in the garden ever since temperatures allowed. We’ve already rode the seasonal rollercoaster here in Maryland going from no winter to speak of, to 90’s in April to torrential rains and now frost in May! I’ve really had enough of that, I’ve weeds to pull and plants to move and mulch to spread.
I’ve also had cards and gifts to make so the 30’s in the morning led me to the warmth of my sun filled craft room. So on my workdesk you will find today a completed card for a friend who is due to have her first child very soon.
I’ve limited baby stamps to say the least, this stamp as well as the paper is from my days with The Angel Company.
The next card is an attempt at watercolor.
The stamp is PSX again very old and I used my watercolor markers and a waterbrush. Not awful but a few spots look more like blobs of color then actual leaves or flowers. I’ve convinced myself that watercolors just look like that…right?
Well that’s it from here. Off you go to Julia’s at the Stamping Ground to see what other deskers are up to!
