What's on Your Workdesk #468

Another Wednesday, another desk.  I'm working on a birthday card, but having a rough go of it.  I've forgotten how hard it is to work with alphabet stamps, even with a stamp positioning system.  The balloon stencil I'm using took 4 times to get the look I wanted.  There are days things come together without issue, there are also days like today...

Now head off to the Stamping Ground where there are lots of other desks and of course Julia's witty comments to make your day!

  1. Happy 9th Anniversary to you. I'm hoping to pop round to visit everyone this week....depending what work comes through my door of course.
Here's hoping we can all enjoy many more happy years of fun and friendship.

  2. Happy 9th WOYWW anniversary Angie! Thanks for sharing your desk today, I really love how all your colours are arranged so neatly. And I know exactly what you mean about how some days go well, while others are a complete mare!

  3. hope you got the card the way you want it soon! I don't use a stamp positioner (although have just bought a stamping platform ) but often at times like that go for the deliberately wonky look! Helen #4

  4. Happy 9th anniversary Angie. I like the look of the monochrome background with the colourful character in the foreground. It was worth all the angst. Have a good week. Sarah #14

  6. Gee Angie. I often have the very same problem. Looks like you have the proper tools, though, which I would LOVE to have. I can't believe all the stamp pads and pens you have. SO amazing. Hope you are enjoying the party. Happy 9th anniversary from #13.

  10. Sorry I’m late. YOur desk is wonderful, a lovely inspiring array of colour to gaze at! I know what you mean about the alpha stamps, these days its so easy to just use a die cut that my alphas are a bit neglected....and yep, I dont use my stamp positioner much now either! Looks like you’re getting the better of it all though, the card is beautifully stencilled.

  11. Happy Anniversary! I'm trying really hard to get to everyone, but work time just isn't cooperating! I agree with you about the alphabet stamps; I've given up with trying to line them up; now I purposely miss-align them, so they are obviously "artsy: -well that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Have a wonderful week.

  15. Hi Angie, I totally agree, getting alpha stamps to line up is so irritating. I got my TH Stamping Platform this year, and I must admit that did make it much easier. Have a lovely week, Happy 9th Anniversary, Hugs, Shaz #6 XXX
