What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday #472

First and foremost I want to apologize to anyone that has commented and I haven't visited.  I stopped getting notification from Blogger that anyone had commented, when I checked today I had two weeks worth of comments, I am sorry if I didn't visit you.  I now know, that I must check the comment section to make sure comments are posted.   It's some 'glitch' they are supposedly working on.

Now on to the desk.  Well actually, what I just finished working on!

The first card is using the Concord and Ninth stencil. They have some papers that go with it, but the paper was grey and that’s not my thing, but I liked the stencil.  I used distress inks for the background and the flowers.  The second is a crazy dog colored with pencils on an embossed dog paw print background.  The banner die is really cool and is from Kat Scrappiness.  The last card was a toss together!  I had made a background using Oxide inks and then added more to it.  I decided to stamp the flowers from an old Angel Company set (one of my all time favorites) in similar colors of Palette inks.  I like how it came out sort of muted and chalky looking.

So that’s it from here.  Now hop on over to The Stamping Ground and see what the other deskers have going.  Oh, and if you click on that Kat Scrappiness link, it is an affiliate link, so I get a couple pennies if you buy it lol!  Have a great day!

  5. My sincere apologies for the late visit. I had an internet meltdown that required a reboot from my carrier and a service repair person who came out and performed his magic.

Since I never use e-mail notifications, I understand that others are having troubles getting theirs. Your cards are fabulous, and the last one may be my favorite. I adore the muted colors that the oxides seem to give. Happy belated WOYWW from #1.
